Troy's Director's Cut changes one scene completely, for the better, and there's another bit where the Greeks are actually shown to be menacing.

Just before John Landis's falling chopper (on wires) cut off Vic Morrow's head and killed two children in the Twilight Zone Movie.

I can't find the info anywhere but I swear I remember that guy being a contest winner and getting one line in the movie. It has always been one of the most awkward rushed lines I think I've ever heard in a movie.

It wasn't on wires though and it was never intended to crash in the shot.

The Taxi Driver thread veered (see what I just did there? I kill me, I really do) into a mini-discussion of Casino and if any otherwise decent film could have benefited from more directorial restraint and focus that would be it.

Prime candidates for the axe would have to be most of Sharon Stone's scenes and all of James Wood's. Ace's marital woes were an interesting part of the book and were definitely part of the story but they really didn't need to dwell on them (particularly in such a plodding way).

Or at the very least before cutting to Palpatine's dopey grin.

He was scheming the whole time, we got that. Several movies ago.

Your statement was bigoted that's why it was deleted don't think you are funny for stupid generalizations of people you don't know.

The helicopter was blown over by an explosion that was either out of place or to strong and caused the deaths.
