Not even close for me Seinfeld all the way. I am shocked so far Friends is winning.

Why are you shocked Friends is winning? I'm not trying to make it seem like Seinfeld is an awful show or anything it's just that I always see Friends win when it comes to these 2 shows facing off or always see people prefer Friends over Seinfeld. Could just be the sites I visit though.

Seinfeld 100-0.

Friends was a typical American sitcom. Seinfeld on the other hand was a bit more mature and more clever. It had nearly always perfectly written episodes from start to the end.

Friends always kind of annoyed me... sure, there are a few episodes that are good but the characters on friends just seem corny...only one that was realistic was Chandler really

To me, Friends was just your mediocre to average, bubble gum sit-com aimed at the tween to soon to be out of high school girl crowd. Typical crap.

I've seen probably 50-60% of the Seinfeld series. One day I plan on watching the entire series.

Friends, I've seen maybe 10-20 episodes.

I like Seinfeld better.

Friends.

It has been on non stop here, once the series finishes, it goes back to the start, yet I still watch it.

Ross and Monica are brilliant.. Ross was quite dull in the first couple of seasons, but once he dropped the real mopey character a bit, he really got into it. Favorite episodes would probably be when Ross meets Bruce Willis, so funny.

Rachel almost slept with Joey, but they couldn't go through with it.

Chandler made out with Rachel in the 90s (or 80s?), Ross made out with Monica in the same episode (thinking it was Rachel).

In an alternate universe, Joey was married to Monica once..

Seinfeld. No lessons learned, no hugs and feelings, just selfish, shallow people who'd happily see each other in discomfort for their own amusement. The Betrayal stands as one of the greatest TV episodes of any kind

Loved both, I went with Seinfeld because of the amazing eccentricity of each character. Cosmo, George, George's Boss, The Soup Nazi! just brilliant!

Friends likely easier to watch and higher standard of consistency but a little more formulaic. mmm tough in the end.
