Haha me too, I played R1 split screen when I was living at home and although it was great, now it's way too much work to arrange for a buddy to come by. Online co-op is the way to go for me.

Heh, you got me all excited there for a minute, then I watched the video and saw you meant the Kraken.

That level was SOOO photo-realistic. I really felt like I was on a boat in foggy weather looking at all of the trees!

Indeed, while the actual graphics are not the greatest the atmosphere is look fantastic! I can just picture being on the run, being hunted, on a journey of survival.

Ya I'm surprised they put this beta so far away. This is the public beta though. There is currently a private beta happening with IG/Sony friends, staff, family. Then there will be a closed beta that *might* include people from Community Day (me!) and/or IG Forums. Then there will be this public beta through SOCOM4/PS+ (which is more of a demo I'd imagine).

What? of the campaign?!! If so I'll probably fold and buy the movie, unless it is given to PSN+ members as well.

If it is of the MP then I don't really care. I have the beta from Socom but still not that excited after R2's online modes.
