Avatar's Banshee copied ("got inspiration") from Delgo

Read the book about the making of Avatar. The people who designed those did NOT copy anyone else, it was a process of refining creatures with 6 appendages. This is a non story. Also Cameron painted his first picture of the Navi many years ago.

But I find that this is just use by people who don't like Avatar. So what he took stuff from other movies and applied them in his own way to his stories? It does not change the fact that Avatar was fun and great for many people and not that fun and great for others. Big deal! I mean those that like this movie will continue watching it just like everytime someone on here say to me that the Star Wars prequels are ridiculous, like I care, I will still watch them because I like them.

Yes, Cameron wrote Avatar back in 1994, and did a lot of the artwork for the movie in the mid '90's as well - so if anything, this Delgo thing would be guilty of copying Avatar, not the other way around...

Just because Delgo was released in theaters a year before Avatar means nothing. Like magicman said - non story.

Yeah, he shouldn't write his own scripts, but he's the "king of the world", right? Maybe the story, but not the dialogue. He wrote Avatar's in about 3 weeks. And I'm a big fan of the film, despite its flaws.
