Should the BDA extend the olive branch to HD DVD at CES?

im not saying make peace with the internet fudsters. im saying at their conferenrce, get up and say something like, "in light of recent events, we would love to have toshba, microsoft, universal and paramount in our bda family. They are wonerful companies with wonderful people. One thing both formats agree on is they want to do what is best for the consumer. We feel a one format solution is the best thing our industry can offer this industry right now, so if they would like to join the bda they are more than welcome."

This way they don't lose the war, they are just doing whats best for consumers. most people will never even know what hd dvd was and how bad these companies f'd up if they do it this way. othewise, hd dvd is going to go down lookign bad,
