Why the eff is the X2 not a 4G phone? It's everything I want except that. It's got the qHD screen I want, dual-core 1GHz processor, 1 GB of ram (I think). It's ugly as hell though and I hate Moto's UI and have no idea how to root a phone. :dunno:

Verizon hasn't worked out all the kinks with LTE. LTE drains battery like a mofo. So dual core + LTE = DEAD BATTERY

Ya the 4g on my Evo is a huge drain. I dont see the need for 4g unless im tethering though. The 2mb 3g connection is more than enough for my browsing needs, although most of the time im on wifi at home or at work.

I'll most definitely get blasted for this but there are an ass-ton of phones coming out for VZ on the 26th. And out of the X2 (already out) and the 3 phones coming out then: LG Revolution (the only 4G phone of the bunch), SE Play, and HTC Trophy, the two I'm most interested in are LG's and the Trophy. Why might I get blasted, you ask? The Trophy is a WP7.

I'll agree with that. There's too many "wallpaper" this and that apps when I'm trying to search for something genuine. Also, we need devs to really focus in and stop giving us crappy ports. I know it can be difficult seeing as how there are so many different phones and hardware they have to design for. Honestly, I said that with the NBA in mind. I spent $10 on the game time app and couldn't have been more pissed with how it performed.

Netflix is what made the xxx hit the fan for me.It's just not consistent. Even if two phones pretty much have the same power, it's because of the processor maker. That's why I want an iPad. To actually experience the iOS. Android would be awesome if they layed down the law.

To me,Android is like pre-Emperor China with 7 waring states. Free to do what it wants, but there's going ot be a LOT of conflicts. Apple is like China with emperor/today. It restricts a lot, but they are as one. It has security. But it is almost too restricted.

It is not to dicuss the differences between Android and iPhone/iPad. That just leads down a bad path.

I was just comparing, especially the issues I've been having with Android. I don't own any Apple products, and I was really trying to see if others were having issues with Android the way I am.

I swear people get so uptight sometimes.

And technically iOS can run Android.
