Default Who's Going TO CES of 08 ?

Hey guys, I wanted to know how many of you are going to make it to the 2008 CES show this year. And have you been there before, What's the experience like?? I found out too late, so I'm planning to go next year.

Trust me, if I had the time and the money I would go in a heartbeat. I can only imagine what great things would be there, especially for Blu Ray.

Default CES Rocks

I have been to the C.E.S many times. I used to work in the industry and my first time was in 1995. This year will be my 8th time going....it really is incredible.

It's a no-brainer from LA to fly to Vegas and enjoy the show for free.

The $75.00 complete pass to the Porn convention was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen in my life. It's all Business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will take lot's of pictures and report back with the winners of each day.

Ciao.

It's funny that almost every person at the porn convention had CES tags. However, I guess that's not too big a surprise as what could go better together than Sex & Electronics for a guy except for maybe Sex & More Sex.

I could have gone, but silly me forgot to have my dad get tickets. He owns an electronics store and is buddies with his distributer who can easily get tickets. We are going next year though.

. . . and FYI for everyone. My dad sells mostly Toshiba TV's, but I convinced him not to sell HDDVD players. Doing my part they best way I can.

Smile CES news

Where is the best place to read up on news from CES, especially news related to Blu? Perhaps a Senior member can create a CES thread
Sunday?

That would be nice if the Adult Video Convention put up a banner outside the door "We Believe in Porn-Ray"

I too would like to know. Are the mods going to be setting up threads or is Josh/staff going to be making posts throughout the day on the website?

If the rules are still the same, you must be 21, and in the business. E-mails usually go out w/ free passes. It takes the entire show to see it all. Almost everyone wears tennis shoes. I have been going for years, the "adult" section used to be part of, just behind a curtained off area. It really is something to see. There is a CES site, but my "stuff" is at the office.
The staff here is set to feed info as it happens with nightly detailed reports, unless I get them drunk !!
