As someone else already pointed out, Wolverine and the X-Men was distributed by Lionsgate. The Avengers is distributed by Disney. Name the other Disney distributed animated series that have received Blu-Releases.

I won't say it's impossible, but Wolverine and the X-Men should not be used as a model of what to expect with regard to The Avengers. Lionsgate is good about releasing it's television product on Blu-Ray. Disney is so not.
