Pretty boring here at work today. The guy I wrok directly with is out ( he went to Indy for the races this weekend ). Couple other people are gone. Some leaving early. So I'm on here, & eBay...checking things out.

Yes, it is a relatively safe area. I mean, I live in a city and there are two projects (low income housing) within two to three blocks from my house, but nothing usually happens where I am. My biggest concern is speeding. The stretch of road between the two lights in front of my house is the perfect length for a quick drag race. This happens almost every weekend with the modified Hondas and other little cars like that.

Thanks. The kids slept right through it. It was a little scary but unusual for it to be so close. I mean there have been shootings and guns discharged within a few blocks of my house, but this is the closest it has ever been in the 13 years I have lived here. Most of what we get in front of my house are speeders or drunks being pulled over.

There has been no new information other than the shooter is believed to have known the victim. Some talk is that is was drug related.

Eating a Twix bar, trying to forget about the ongoing dizziness I still have from riding the Diamondback rollercoaster (3x in a row) at Kings Island the other day with my daughter. In the infamous words spoken by Danny Glover, "I'm gettin' too old for this sh-t!"

Not a good start to the new dinosaur exhibit, is it!

We only stayed for a few hours, so we didn't get a chance to see it. Since we are GoldCard members, we will get back over some time to see it. I know my son will enjoy it. I never did hear how the fire started. Have they said anything more about it?

HaHa I know right! I didn't hear anymore about it. I know it didn't delay to opening of that part. I hope they at least covered it up...don't think lil childrens would like seeing Mr. Charredasaurus.

BTW...I still can't believe they took out King Cobra. I know it's been awhile but that was a staple for them FOR YEARS. Did they ever open Son of Beast back up?
