Onkyo receiver problem?

Set it to "PCM" and the receiver showed the same thing. I was searching and found similar things that lead me to believe that the new BD player is decoding the audio and my receiver isn't showing the original audio track like it used to. I looked up my old BD player and it too decodes the audio before sending it so why would I see the original audio tracks on the receiver with the old one and not the new one that are essentially doing the same thing?
