The cover mistake confused me!

But, even with some flaws, it was rather enjoyable to see them in Hi-Def.

Even Blade with a modified aspect ratio looked great... But I hope a USA version will come soon.
It's all Warner now. They have been slow to release New Line catalog titles since they bought them out a few years ago.

I actually bought all 3 of these on Blu from FYE used and never realized that they were not the correct releases! The aspect ratio in the first one bothers me a bit but i'll live for now. Actually I am curious as to how I can add these three movies to my blu-ray.com collection since they arent searchable it seems..

thx

Ant

Edit: I figured out how to add it..

There was a thing floating around the net the other day indicating that Warner was licensing out all the newline titles from the mid 90s-2004 to EchoBridge, that hadnt been released on BD by wb yet, not sure if theres any truth there, hope not or we will be getting some pretty crappy BDs of great new line films in the near future

I'd LOVE to see any New Line titles list given away to that company. But if those titles included the Sonny Chiba Street Fighter series remastered in 2k/4k with the japanese language track & english subs i'd be totally in line. But im sure the first release from their "vault" would be the type of an UBER cult classic like "North" North never had a DVD release....and here's why .....

After watching that, I absolutely HAVE to see that movie (if only to see Kathy Bates as an Eskimo).

On topic, even if EB is given the distro rights to NL's catalog, I gotta imagine that they'll at least be on par w/ Aliance's offerings (seein' as NEITHER company puts any effort/resources into their BD offerings).

The Sonny Chiba Street Fighter films reverted back to Toei in Japan and BCI Communications had the rights until they went under. The Street Fighter flicks were essentially public domained out the arse.
