Yeah, I loved the series. 3 not so much, Ashton isn't in it and it didn't really feel right. Whether 4 gets made remains to be seen, but if it does, Ashton has to be in it.

Instead of John Ashton we get George Lucas! No Paul Reiser either it would be nice to get the gang back together....

Oh yeah! The real highlight of the movie, George Lucas. LOL. Yeah, I do hope they make 4, and make it well.

Really hope they release a trilogy set! Love these films, the last one is pretty poor, but still enjoy watching them all!

Who can forget Axel Foley. "You don't want a banana in your tailpipe?". Good times...

Can't wait to get this! Eddie in the 80's was Eddie at his best! Movies, Stand up, it was all brilliant. Eddie Murphy Raw is quite posibly the best stand up rutine I've ever seen

This will be mine day one, no doubt about it

Truly great film from Martin Brest who also brought us the fab Midnight Run. Really quality adult action/drama/comedy. I bought the US disc when it was released.

Best forget about the shitty remakes though and I hope they don't dump this to release it in a so-called 'trilogy'.

I have Midnight Run on HDDVD but it would be nice to see it on Blu-ray if only to get it more of an audience. One of my all-time favourite films.

"Look man, I ain't falling for no banana in my tailpipe" - Axel. Good stuff, good times, second one was OK, but the third was terrible.

I had the slight misfortune to watch Cop Out recently and the music for that was composed by Harold Faltermeyer which riffs on the great soundtrack from this and Fletch.

I should have done myself a favour and watched on of those classics.

Midnight Run will always be remembered for the wonderfully awesome/awful television edit which brought swear words like motherfunner into our lexicon. The guys who made the TV versions were comic geniuses....

Has anyone literally shoved a banana up the tail pipe of a car and if so, did it have the same effect that it had in the movie? Just wondering.

I done that a couple of times years ago but we stuck them in parked cars and hung about and the car never moved anytime soon so we never actually found out.
