Good morning fellas, well Bill we have 5 cats all adopted rescues, and yep all 5 still have there claws and have damaged no gear in 10 years. The only exception to that is the foam bass traps in the corners and it is cheap so I don't try and stop them from "playing" with that, otherwise we have an "understanding" they understand that if they do damage anything I will fix their claw problems myself, seems to work for us.

Funny you should say something about the Dayton subs Raider, I just blew one of my peerless 12" subs yesterday (my own stupid fault) but the new Dayton Reference Series 12" will be here today. Yes I really like the Dayton subs, I feel they are a great bargain.

Hi rpatt, I have been very pleased with the VPI, it is one of the pieces I have never even thought of upgrading, it has taken a long time and some coin too but I finally have a lot of pieces I feel no need to upgrade. But as you guys know certainly not everything is set in stone some of my gear I still do have the upgrade bug.

Dan

Did you buy a new driver or a whole new sub? Are your speakers home built?
