In a sad note... I just realized, the Bruins are going to pick 9th and 30th in the upcoming draft. Good job Toronto

The second Boston Pick, 30th overall, went to Toronto as part of the Kaberle trade. That trade now includes the Bruins' 2012 second round selection.

I went to the Canucks forum and most of the fans said that Boston is simply the better team! At least they see it, hahaha!

I was just thinking ... The FA market out there for what we need (strong , big , top forward) is pretty scarce except for a few. Maybe the Habs end up signing Wiznewski and Markov. It's well known habs are defense first team now and Price needs all the good defenseman he can handle and most of the team's offense comes from defenseman jumping in the attack and making that first pass from the defensive zone.

If both players decide to take a little less in order to go for a cup, it could work but it's obviously a longshot. That's in a perfect world of course

It's not happening. Wisniewski (correct spelling) will probably receive some hefty offers. Why take less to play on a team that still has glaring offensive deficiencies? I don't see a cup run in that team. I see a team which scratch and claw their way into the playoffs.

I respectfully disagree. As we have seen with this cup run and many others... Defense wins championship and without being biast, a healthy habs squad , we have one of the best defenseman core. Subban, Gill, Markov, Gorges and the locker room is very positive apparently.

I said it's a longshot, but we don't know. I was one of the first that said we can't sign Wiz and Markov, but who knows if we don't get that top forward. If we do get Jagr though, we can forget about both.

Glen Gulutzan as Dallas Stars coach:

One bullet dodged, Kirk Muller might stay in MTL for next season.

All you guys need is a mobile defenseman, only Boyle can move the damn puck on this team. Murray and Demers can't skate. Goligoski would have been a pretty good fit.

She was hurting, teary eyed, im surprised she didnt cry, well she was locked in her room for a while, so im sure she did... Some of my cousins who live in Vancouver took it really hard... I felt pretty bad... They were pretty good to me when the Canucks knocked out my team the Sharks , so i didnt give them any crap for losing game 7... Tough way to lose...
