I enjoy Luther more for Elba's performance, the stories are a little OTT. The 1st episode of the 2nd series was entertaining and well paced despite a few plot holes.
If you like this then you should check out BBC's recent 7 part drama thriller The Shadow Line (finsihed last night, has received a rather mixed reaction over here, reminded although not quite on the same standard of The Red Riding Trilogy. Not up there with State of Play ( The BBC version towers over the Crowe, Affleck flick) but still 7 solid hours of TV. |
