Wait a second: you're saying that the Viva Elite 2-disc Blu-Ray cases shipping now from Disc Makers are the eco version? Can you provide a pic?

I took his post to mean the Elite cases were perfect but the Vortex, although they were the the real (not generic) cases, arrived as the eco variety.

I just noticed on the discmakers' site "Eco-Lite" is now listed on the Vortex (Premium) 2-disc case product page.

I just received 100 Viva Elite 2 disc cases from Disc Makers last week. They are normal cases (NOT eco cases), to confirm the post above mine.

On the one hand, I appreciate full disclosure (thus avoiding any potential ordering mistakes), but this means one less retailer I can turn to for Vortex 2-disc replacements. If Vortex is making a full transition to the eco variety for all of their replacement cases, perhaps I should stock up now with those that still offer the original cases.

Can anyone tell me whether Casetopia has started with the "eco" crap yet? If not, then I definitely plan on stocking up with a few shipments of "un-tampered" Vortex cases.

Does anyone sell a 7 disc case? I am looking to put all three Toy Story movies into one case. Two discs for each of the first two movies and three discs for the third (two blus + dvd, don't use DCs).

Still looking for good deal on triple cases. Need 6 to date, wanted to buy 10.
Found many good deals on single & double cases in larger quantities.

Bought 75 doubles from Supermedia store for 10.99 per 25 (got 3 to get free S&H) Had $3 coupon so my cost was only 40¢ per case!

Sleevetown has high S&H which kills deal! 10 triples for $8.69 is reasonable but $8.50 S&H! $1.72 per case cost. If double order 20 triples for $17.38 & S&H goes up to $10.10 -- $1.37 per case cost.

Best I can find is Disc Makers Viva Elite. 25 triple cases for $15.25 + $5.50 S&H T= $20.75 or 83¢ per case.

I think I will just get them from Disc Makers.

Only use the triples when combine a BD with a 2 disc DVD set to keep the special features when the BD is missing some.

Okay, this may seem like an odd request (and I know it's not technically a blu-ray case), but I thought this was as good of a place as any to ask.

I'm basically looking for a case, ideally the size of a normal single disc DVD case (or as close to it as possible), but I don't want it to have any kind of hub or anything in it to hold a disc. I actually just want to store about 8 DVD booklets in it (and no discs). If it has clips that can handle that capacity, that's fine, but even if they are just laying in there with nothing holding them down, that is fine as well. I just don't want any kind of disc hub that will be pressing against the booklets and damaging them.

But I do need it to be as close to DVD size as possible, and I want to be able to put an insert label into it like I can any regular DVD case.

If anyone knows of anything that will work and can point me in the right direction, I will be quite grateful.

Can someone tell me the difference between vortex and elite cases. I need to order some replacements but the last time i ordered some the side where the movie name is written is kinda squared looking, i didnt like these. I like the non-eco kind without the snap side, does anyone know what this type is called.

Those would be the non-eco Viva Elites; just be careful as they also have an eco variant available.

no the vortex ones were eco lite, i got the vivas and they are regular, thank goodness.

What I need is a 6 disc case that will fit into the new BTTF Trilogy box so I can swap my Digital Copies over and get rid of that monstrosity of a case =)

So, does it exist, or am I S.O.L ?
