My Sony upconverts standard def content on blu-rays. The only player I know for a fact that doesn't is the PS3 for some reason

Oddly enough, I have contacted Borders about my order and I have received the same reply, that the item is out of stock.

Then again, it could be the standard negligence of Customer Support mixed with the fragility of Borders' business right now, and nothing to do with any production problem whatsoever.

I saw it last week in theaters, and I'm positive the Fellowship title was not green. I have seen these movies too many times not to notice that. PJ made changes to the Fellowship colors (most notably in Rivendell and Lothlorien), but the green tint was not one of them.

Your position entails that PJ actually said "Could you please make the Fellowship title a little green? Oh, but leave the titles for TTT and RotK white. Perfect!" I can't fathom him actually saying that.

If it was out of stock, it would say out of stock, items will ship when they come in stock.

I feel like I will be cancelling. Because for me this is an import..And a replacement program across continents is a gray area! Anyone know if i could get a successful replacement for any faulty FOTR revelation??

I hope they do have to pay for a recall of the discs everyone is going on about - serves the studio right to have to foot the bill for new discs since they cheaped out so bad on this release.

Yeah, something's up. Very odd to suddenly stop taking orders for one of the top selling Blus of the year.

Sometimes Amazon does ship a little early. In my experience, it is rare that I get a movie a day before.
