I take it you mean to point out it's not the same character he's playing in Red Sonja? I'm not sure that triple pack would make sense either, but certaintly these films would fall within the same genre and go together better than CTB, CTD and The Terminator, for instance.

Same genre = fair enough.

I know it's easy for me to forget sometimes that Arnold isn't playing Conan in Red Sonja given the genre and time frame.

Arnold was suppose to reprise his role as Conan for Red Sonya, but because of legalities, his character had to be renamed Kalidor.

Better that way because I wouldn't have liked to see Conan take a back seat to Red Sonja.

I can't wait for this release. I saw this rare cut of the film many years back.

I can tell you, ALOT of violence is added back into this version. 1st day buy for me.

Yes, absolutely, he was perfect as Conan. I just hope that my expectations are not too high so I can at least enjoy the new Conan...

I hope the theatrical cut is included as well, as I always thought the added scenes at the end with the princess didn't work too well. Anyway this is a day one, regardless as it's one of my all time favourite movies.

Also, does anyone know if this will be region free, as I much prefer the American cover to the UK version.

To be honest, I am not really sure, but this was made from the actual prop pieces, as a matter of fact, when I bought this I was offered to buy 1 of the props, it was the hollowed out blade prop with a little lever on the handle to squirt the blood LOL, but almost $3000(for the sword I have now) was better then almost $15000 for the prop.

Wow, very neat stuff! Great purchase...I'm jealous!
Thanks so much for posting the pics! My question is this: will you be holding the sword when you watch these BD's??
Again, very cool stuff!

LOL, it is very heavy, pics do not do this thing justice, and you certainly would not want to drop on your foot or something, it is double sided and razor sharp.

But to answer your question, maybe I will oil it while watching Barbarian
