Scorsese and DeNiro were supposed to team up on this one...rumored for years....and I have never heard a word of confirmation on this. DeNiro is rumored to play Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran who is claimed to have killed Jimmy Hoffa.

Anyway..if and when this is ever confirmed....I will be one happy individual.

word is that Scorsese will make it after he films 'The Silence', which is listed as his next film after 'Hugo Cabret'.

also, the title of the film is supposed to be 'The Irishman', and star De Niro, Pesci (both actors' first reunion with Scorsese since 1995's Casino), as well as Pacino, who will work with The Master for the first time in his career AND also rumored with Keitel as well, which would be the actor's first time working with Scorsese since 1988's The Last Temptation of Christ.
