I wonder if Warner will go back and re-encode some of their previous releases to be better suited for Blu. Could they improve on Blade Runner?

Summer Release - "Blade Runner the True Blu edition".

I am unlikely to do any more prediction threads after next week at AVS when the contest closes. With the Warner/New Line announcement it would have been interesting to see how titles do with the delayed WB release and such. With what is incresingly looking like a sudden collapse, even running it here would be too much rubbing the loss in the faces of some of the classier HD DVD fans who do not deserve such treatment.

I'd still like to see the numbers... not so much for last week... but AFTER the Warner announcement. I want to see some 80:20 weeks, 90:10... 95:5... etc, etc... I want to see them get their asses stomped!

OK, I feel better now...

+1...I agree, I want to see what Japan and others have been able to see 7:1 in favor of Blu-ray.

me too. My guess and hope is that eventually it will be DVD vs BD numbers, so in the end numbers will always be important until BD is the standard.

It may be a while before the numbers go up (think it's around 1 to 1.5% right now) but I want the HD numbers until there is no more HD DVDs produced (guess I'm a bit vindictive).
