You might be right but they said the same thing about Grand Prix. The Grand Prix bluray looks identical to the HD-DVD which was pretty good at the time but IMO isn't really an optimal transfer.

Also I suspect the reason they waited with those two titles is to take advantage of a greater installed base of BD players. I wouldn't be surprised if those HD-DVDs sold in the hundreds.
