America's Got Talent Season 6 (2011) - Blu-ray Forum

The auditions kicked off tonight and boy they were entertaining. Two people fell off the stage which was hilarious well the first one was kinda scary but the 2nd one was pure comedy. The last audition was brilliant and they are probably my favorite act already. They were kinda like Fighting Gravity but different. I think they were called Illuminate. Tight stuff. Cant wait for Tuesday and get to the next city of auditions. I love this show. So much better than Idol. Speaking of Idol, their age limit is a laughing stock. There was a 34 year old singer tonight who wouldve blown away most singers on Idol but because he is to old for that show he wouldnt have been able to try out. What a joke. Got Em!!

It was one of the best audition rounds the series has ever done.

As for Idol the age limit is there because they aren't trying to find the best singer in america. They are trying to find the next tween sensation.

We missed this week's ep. Luckily I'm DVRing the ep when it shows on Oxygen ( tomorrow I think ).

Ok so we are now into the quarterfinals and the first 12 acts were solid although there were a couple of duds. I am still pissed on a couple of the acts they let through to Hollywood like those dumb Funny Little People. Anyway here are the 4 acts I think should advance:

Snap Boogie
Sandou Trio Russian Bar
Anna Graceman
Miami All Stars

It was a tough choice between the Miami All Stars & the Fearless Flores Family for that last spot but I am not sure what else the Flores Family could do to up it. Lets see how the results go. Got Em!!

Those were my choices as well except I would put the Fearless Flores Family in the top 4 from last night, didnt care for the Miami All Stars much.

I am not usually a fan of dancing but Snap Boogie is pretty sweet and retains his... masculinity?

I think Anna Graceman is terrible. She picks songs way above her voice. You can't knock the fiddleheads but praise her for song choice.

Really? The lead singer in the Fiddleheads couldnt sing the song while Anna actually sounded very good in my book. Anna has a big voice especially for her age. The Fiddleheads are corny to me. Well see what happens. Got Em!!

Well I was 100% correct with the first set of results. They were also announced in the order I had them also. I am not sure if thats how they placed but I thought it was still pretty cool. Cant wait for next week. Got Em!!

The past two songs have been to big for her in my opinion. I dont think the Fiddleheads did well either though. Anna tried Adele and it just did NOT work. She doesn't have near the power in her voice for an Adele song.

She may not be Adele but she did deserve to advance based off of the performances from last night. Do u agree? If not who do u think shouldve advanced in her place? Got Em!!

Good calls on the 4 to advance Czar.

After thinking about it for a bit in regards to my 4th pick being the Fearless Flores, I realized it isnt really something you would want to watch for an extended period of time, and really there isn't much room to make it better.

Interested to see what the Russian Bar group will do in the semi finals after she said they werent going to do the bar again.

I don't agree, I didn't think she was good at all. I'm glad you enjoy her voice, but it's just not for me.

However, I also don't think anyone else deserved it over her. There were the three excellent acts that made it through, and everything else I didn't really care.

Yea thats why I didnt have them advancing because while it was a dangerous act to me it couldnt get much better than that and I didnt think folks would want to watch kids ride inside a cube on bikes doing circles haha. As for the Russian Bar act I am curious as well but how can they just go away from the Russian Bar when thats what got them this far and also its their name as well haha. Got Em!!

To me there were only two great acts and that was Snap Boogie and Russian Bar but I thought the other two (Anna & Miami All Stars) did enough to advance. Got Em!!

I just watched last nights show and it was probably the worst live show ever. However there were still a couple of great acts. Here are the four that I think should advance:

Silhouettes
Smage Bros. Riding Shows
Landon Swank
Dani Shay

Lets see if I get all four right again. Stay tuned for tonight. Got Em!!

I really don't think any of them were any good other than Landon which was just okay, but this is what I think the results will be...

Looks like u got two right just like me lol. And wow u didnt think the Silhouettes did a good job? That was awesome and it was very touching and just the overall performance was big and had a big impact. Got Em!!

I dunno, there is nothing wrong with being patriotic, but there is a fine line when it comes to doing it for the right reason. Seemed like a safe bet to get votes to me and had me rolling my eyes.

I really didn't think the Smash Brothers was moving on when they were up there with Landon.
