Do you happen to have any of the new trilogy?

I wouldn't mind seeing more "Star Wars" images myself; just remember that "Episode III" is PG-13.

But I am not going to post films of the same series into different threads....especailly in light of the fact that quite a few PG films in the 1970's would have been PG13 by todays standards Jaws, Grease etc.

Actually, if I remember right, Screamin Chicken actually asked people to sort their images properly by rating, and also said that anyone who incorrectly placed images in the wrong thread should move them when asked. After all the hassle that went down the past few days, Diesel instated the ratings boundary...you do the math.

There is no way I am going to look up every single film before I up a poster. I know pretty much off hand what is rated R but when it comes to PG/PG13 ..not going to happen. It takes long enough just to post them let alone have to look at films from 1984 to present to see whats 13 or not. My two cents would have been an R rating section and then everything else. If a Mod wants to move them then so be it, if there is a problem with me posting them then just let me know and I will just pass then. As for Star Trek and Star Wars I am not going to split up the sets over a PG/PG13 rating as that is just plain silly IMO so I will hold off posting them. If anyone needs any of the PT films send me a pm and we can get them to you.

Thats a hassle to split up series like that. Ill post em together, if a mod moves them so be it but that makes no sense.

OK, let me give you an example of how easy this is. Most films listed on the IMDB website have a small, gray ratings logo directly below the title, indicating the MPAA's stance on the picture. Sometimes, the rating is found on the Details section, but that's a rare thing. All you have to do is type the title in, and quickly view the logo to tell which section a poster belongs in. If you're submitting say, 30 posters or so, such an effort could take maybe 5 minutes at the most. It's not nearly as much of a hassle, as some make it out to be.

Honestly not trying to start another conflict here, but why do you find it so silly? Every film in the "Star Wars" series was rated PG except for "Sith", and the only Trek films with a PG-13 rating (to date, anyway), are "First Contact", "Nemesis", and the 2009 reboot. It's pretty simple, all things considered.

Why should we go out of our way when we are already doing a huge service here. We weren't even looking to add an obscene movie, its star wars for crying out loud. Sorry I even asked for them now, I'm just stop posting posters as well. You have to make everything into drama and an added hassle.

Wonderful Star Wars posters Cowboy, its amazing how dreadful DVD and Blu Ray covers are when there is fantastic artwork like this beng underused.

Any chance of a few more textless posters for the Christopher Reeve Superman films. To me they are what Star Wars is to Star Wars fans.

Many Thanks

David,

sadly it is very hard to find anything from the Chris Reeve supermans in Hi Res especially in textless form. I have searched for years.... I will look and see what I have but I know its not much. Superman Returns has a lot more Hi Res stuff out there.

I find it silly because there is no distintion between the two. You know as well as I that half the PG films in the 70's and early 80's would have been PG13 after 1985. Do you really have a problem with keeping Revenge of the Sith together with the other two? Or Star Trek for that matter? If you go though my westerns i just loaded its full of G and PG films even tough it's in the PG13/ R section. I find it so much eaiser to up load my posters this way because I have them all in genre folders.

So picking and choosing films out of folders and then looking them up is more time consuming than it needs to be, especially in light of the non difference in PG/PG13 Films. Any kid that has seen the first two PT films saw the last one regardless of age. Anyway it's silly to even be talking about this....I am just going to choose to not upload anymore so the problem will be solved.

What's your point?

Personally, no, but I didn't instate the ratings boundaries for both threads. I don't want to pick on anyone; I'm just trying my best to stick with the rules.

Well, most of the posters on my PC are sorted by title, so sorting them by rating is easier. I ca see how that process would be more difficult, particularly for older films, but I honestly don't know what to say. I tried my best to keep certain content issues at bay, but folks kept complaining, so Diesel set things up this way. Given the situation, I really wish I had a better answer for you.

I certainly hope not, because "Sith" had some pretty intense and dark stuff in there. Mass murders of both adults and children (the latter thankfully done offscreen), Anakin being incinerated by lava, Padme' dying in childbirth...that's heavy stuff for a kid to process.

Sorry to hear that; you contribute great stuff.
