My deals section is still stuffed. I cleared my cache, I changed the show movies to just the UK, but I still just get US deals. The Popular, New Deals, Lowest price now don't seem to work properly either.
Be nice to just undo those site improvements!

If you type in the name of a title in the search box, a little window pops up with the cover and you can add it to your collection.

However, if you do this it doesn't show up as "NEW" in your collection. Adding it via the page for the blu-ray does.

I haven't been to AVS in a very long time, and something struck me as possibly being a usefull addition underneath our member post details.

The addition is this. Whenever a thread is created by a member, would it make sense or be possible to have that member shown as the Thread Starter in said thread for every post he makes.

Over at AVS they accomplish this by inserting THREAD STARTER underneath the member status (Blu-ray Samurai for instance).

Anyway we can get our collection to be clickable from the forum when we have it set to Friends Only (by only our friends obviously ).

Currently you have to type that person's name in on the Collection page's URL.

1) I found an import that is listed as a Canadian release that needs to be removed (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Night...Blu-ray/14623/). 1 person has it in their collection, which may cause an issue...

2) Also, I'm having a HUGE issue with the new search at the top of the bluray.com page. The whole auto-fill/guess as to what I'm about to type is so incredibly irritating. If I try to type any film's title entirely without stopping, several letters are missing. I type fast, but am not one to make typos often, so the whole auto-fill thing does not work for me. Can I at least turn this feature off somehow?

Same here. *and* my "connection is reset very often on this site too. Aye. I like the search at the top, but it doesn't respond well to typing =P

I find it irritating as well, and miss the old placement at the top right

But at a minimum, allowing us to turn this feature off would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Firefox/Chrome, Windows 7 and a crappy 5M DSL line, *but* i can type perfectly fine in the forums, and on other webpages, its only this one that resets the connection and lags in the search bar

Windows 7 & Mozilla Firefox, fairly fast internet connection I do believe.

Random letters get left out. So if I get only 2 letters into typing a title, the auto-fill then displays a bunch of titles with those same 1st 2 letters, but as I continue typing, the auto-fill cannot keep up & then skips the next couple of letters, & some letters typed later on. Its odd, & I'm sure its annoying more than just the people posting in this thread.

Typing anywhere else is perfectly fine. Its just that new search field that is driving me insane.

site has loaded fine for me today, no reconnections or anything like that, but that search bar is still lagged when typing a name.

"Robin Hood Prince of Theives" comes out as "robin hd ie of theives" (and thats on a good day)

How long do films in my collections stay "New" and would it be possible to have a preference so each user could set how long this should be

You don't have to delete the titles, from in your movie collection you select the movies you want and then hit the "edit" button at the bottom of the page. From there you can click the watched box to clear the new tag.

I just recently had to do that with ~50 titles in my collection and I think it would be great to have an option to just clear the "new" tag without having to manually click the watched box for each title.

I think that you should be able to add more than one region code setting for box sets because some of them feature locked and unlocked discs. take POTC 1-3 UK for example - there are 3 discs, 2 of which are region free and the third being locked. you can't select "ABC" because then you're saying that the entire box set is region free, but you also can't tag them as locked because they aren't.

Yes this works..... however...

The old site used to remember I had clicked the "B", even when I returned to the site on another day. I use a lot of the info from the home screen, and only really want to see UK and USA info. Its a pain to have to tell it to use my settings each time.
