MCV: PS3 Price Drop Coming in August (Gamescom) ?

Hey guys i finally got a ps3....i think it is the newer one..the place that is chrome and shiny...is black and shiny...and its the slim...on the side of the box it shows uncharted 3...so i am thinking it is a newer model...is there suppose to be a price cut on those? because today at best buy the employee was surprised when i showed him it was black instead of chrome..he said he hadnt heard anything that if there was a price drop they would be pushing those out but they just got 6 in stock...he said i would have 30 days if a price drop happend to bring receipt so thats cool...i hope this is a good ps3...i paid 299 for it!!! i have toy story 3...and transformers 1 and 2 on blu-ray already lol...sadly no games yet i usually just get 1 game at a time and i couldnt figure which one was best to get first.....
