One of the funniest moments on film it when Drebin's walking the ledge around the apartment building and slips and holds on to the statue's penis, and is trying to pull himself back up to safety towards the penis with his mouth wide open as the big chested girl he surprised earlier is looking on and eventually screaming in horror as he stumbles toward her in a stupor holding the statue's penis.

Been meaning to pick up the trilogy on DVD in memory of Leslie Nielsen (R.I.P

), but now that the first movie will be on blu-ray, possibly even the whole trilogy, I might aswell wait for September to roll around.

"Scrooged" and "The Naked Gun" on blu-ray later this year. Bring out "Airplane II: The Sequel" on blu-ray in late 2011 aswell, and Paramount will have one very happy fan!

Excellent news! Good to see some Leslie Neilson films coming out on blu at long last. And also very pleased to hear Airplane and Planes, Trains & Automobiles are coming out. Others i'd like to see are Police Academy 1-7, Airplane 2, Naked Gun 2 & 3, Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Spyhard and the rest of the National Lampoon's Vacation films.

Seeing as how Dracula: Dead And Loving It never even got a UK DVD release, it would be nice to see it on blu-ray.

I'd like to see Wrongfully Accused get a UK blu-ray release aswell. That never got a UK DVD release. Got the US DVD release, but a UK one would have been nice.

Naked Gun 2 and 3? There's 2 1/2 and 33 1/3 but no 2 and 3 :P

I couldn't give a toss about the sequels, which were a perfect example of diminishing returns. I'll pick up The Naked Gun, though...

Leslie Nielson was brilliant at deadpan dialogue and physical comedy that still overcomes the slight discomfort of seeing OJ Simpson in a film. Let's have a complete Police Squad on blu
