IMHO there is not a single title on HDDVD that measures up to the clarity (When Also containing a lossless audio track) Like the ones found on: Pirates of the Carribean 2, Rocky, Spiderman 3, Bridge to Teribithia, Tears of the Sun, DeJaVu or Black Hawk Down.

I'd have to disagree with your disagreement. lol. While all the films you mentioned look great, there are titles on HD DVD that look just as good. Hot Fuzz, King Kong, Serenity, Tokyo Drift, etc. are all in the same league.
