He had every say: he could've refused to show up or, when he did show up, refused to play.

Not showing up or refusing to play would have resulted in him being put on the Did Not Report list, which would have cost him the remainder of his $6.4 million salary, which would have been over $3 million.

Regardless, Moss had offers this year, but they were low dollar offers from teams that aren't expected to compete for the title. He wanted to play for a contender but was passed over by the Patriots, Jets, and Eagles.

I think his point (from my point of view) is that Randy obviously won't do it for pennies and he wasn't not going to show up for 3 million.

Ahh gotcha. Seemed to me like people were arguing: he would only play for a contender, yeah he played for a non-contender last year but that was only for money, and he wanted money this year, but only from a contender....round and round we go.

Don't care enough to keep going.

The Eagles have continued to build their dream team, signing running back Ronnie Brown. No word so far on the money or length of the deal.

Edit: Schefter says it's a one-year deal.

I heard it was a 1 year deal, I did not know that Ronnie Brown has been released, was it because he refused to take a paycut or what? He is one of my favorite players, very talented running back!

Miller isn't a restricted free agent. The Raiders don't have the right to match the deal.
