AMC's stupidity is just unbelievable.
If Season 5 will likely be the last season, I don't see the big deal of keeping it. Either they suck it up or lose one of their greatest shows.

On this week's show, when Skylar was
[Show spoiler]trying to get the car wash for $800K, Walter said "$79,000? Do you know how make I make in a day?"

Do you remember how much he makes? I remember him and Gus negotiating his salary, but I don't remember what they settled on.

I believe he makes $15 million per year.

I don't understand why Skylar is worrying so much about Walt spending money on champagne. She basically said they're leading people to believe they're broke, yet she's trying to buy a car wash. Wouldn't that raise more questions?

I thought this episode was better than previous. Judging by the preview of the next episode, it looks as if the show will definitely be picking up. Jesse's issues are really depressing though, the stuff with Marie and Hank is just weird. Like I still don't understand why Hank is so hostile towards her but nobody else. Next week's show looks great though. LAB FILES~!

Hank doesn't mean to be hostile, but he's in an absolutely devastating situation and is obviously depressed and upset. I mean here's Hank, former macho DEA tough guy, practically confined to a bed and not knowing if he'll ever be able to do much more than that. On top of that, you have Marie, who is (naturally) trying to downplay the bad and be cheerful, and that in and of itself can cause more frustration, which all leads to angry outbursts and short tempers.

But when other people visit, Hank puts on a brave, happy face to convince them he's doing fine--"I'm a tough guy, this is just a minor setback" mentality--because he doesn't want people to think he's weak.

Believe me, for the kind of man Hank was, he's behaving exactly as I'd expect him to right now.

Exactly, I honestly don't know how people don't see that.

It really makes you feel for both Marie and Hank.

No, Skyler wanted a divorce from Walter but she didn't go through with it after he signed the papers. Maybe that is what you are thinking of?

Hank and Marie were on good terms until the shootout with the Cousins in the episode "One Minute".

We're very aware of Skylar wanting to divorce Walt, but I think Hank may have said something about wanting a divorce. I went through and didn't notice anything, so it's still possible.

First Mad Men gets delayed because AMC wants less show, more ad time for revenue.

2nd, AMC cancels Rubicon, a show with great acting and character writing, weak main conspiracy arc. Lots of potential.

3rd, Walking Dead" creator Frank Darabont has reportedly departed from AMC.

4th AMC wants to cut final season of Breaking Bad in half. Creators shop for deals at other networks.

The Killing is VERY mediocre overall, with only a handfull of fleeting moments where its pretty darned good. But even those are tough to care about because the show often pretends that it has properly setup things that it has not. They also go through more red herrings than 2 seasons of 24. 24 could pull that off, because it presented itself as a half serious, fun time action show. But The Killing wants to be dead serious all the time, so it becomes laughable. It pretty much insults its viewer once every other episode. I'm pretty upset that they canceled Rubicon and replaced it with THAT. Rubicon had some excellent character writing and great nuanced performances. The overarching Conspiracy was very weakly presented, but the season wrapped up in a very tidy fashion. They could easily have adjusted the show to focus on the strengths and had a really great second season. I'd recommend watching its only season if you have time, as I said it wraps up pretty well and the season as a whole is worth it.

I know most people are very aware about the Walt and Skyler situation but I think master_8ball may have got confused about the couple that wanted the divorce.

I am 99% sure that Hank and Marie never discussed a divorce.

No, they haven't, but it's definitely a possibility with the way things are unfolding.

because thats the only person he can really show his weakness towards so she absorbs all that abuse. if his colleagues saw that side of him all depressed then he would be looked at as weak. in most marriages this tends to happen especially if someone is cloaking themselves from what they really are. Hank hasnt been so macho since Tuco incident and now that he has this disability it started to boil over.

he's probably thinking about when he talked about his career being over. and she was ignoring it cause she didnt want to see him lose everything he worked so hard to be. i can see how it could be mistaken especially if someone only watched the episode a couple times but i've watched that season like 4 times already lol.
