Thought you all might like to look at the new look of the Dynaudio Confidence Signature C4s. I took them from someone that posted them over at AVS.

I could help but notice the Parasound Halo amps in the background, I would imagine that those are the big monoblocks. I would love to be able to hear that setup.

I seen those too... thats why I posted them for you especially... haha

what do you think of that finish??? Ive seen it in person on the Sig C1s. Its fantastic. I got to audition them also on the T+A 1260 R stereo receiver... what a setup, as a complete setup, its my favorite so far that I've heard to date.

You need a new 2-ch rig?? It'll cost about $11k tho....

I really like that finish but don't have an extra $11k laying around. I can do pretty much whatever I want in the basement but the area I have for two channel is in our main living area which requires approval for everything. I don't see myself getting the go ahead for any changes to that system in the near future.

LOL, neither do I, I asked my dealer if he would just grandfather them to me... he had a laugh at that one.. The speakers themselves are $8300, but the T+A stereo receiver is another bucket of change..

Here is the C1s in the new Mocca finish.... I got to hear these at my dealers place 2 weeks ago... wow they sound as good as they look....

Yeah, the C1 is a great speaker, but not for every style of music, doesn't have enough low end for rock. Am debating to pick up a 3.4 (fantastic imaging on the ones I demoed), but will wait until I hear the new Focus 340 (the size is more friendly for me), hopefully it'll be a substantial improvement over the 220 I checked out recently.

what was driving the C1s that you heard? I have heard them on the Octave V40 and V70SE and a T+A R1260 R stereo receiver, and another T+A IA and PA but I dont remember which one.

The New C1 Sig, had very good bass, about as good as the S3.4s in all the music I have heard them play. I thought the C1s image better. Now, Ill say that the C1s and the S 3.4s aren't for every type of music. That is why I like the Excites and Focus series, I think they do better with more types of music. I prefer more rock, alternative and bluesy Jazz. The Contours and Confidence seem a little to smooth with those types of music for me. I like something a little more chunky sounding.

Yes i agree C1 are great with jazz and accoustic but they have as fair share of low end with the right amp but also depends of the size of the room, I heard them in a 20*14 room and sounded amzing with good amount of bass driven by the Naim Super Nait.

Id love to do it today... but thats not gonna happen... I would want a power amp before I go up the line anyways.. so once you see the PA in the system... then we'll start looking for the Focus 160s.

What do you need a PA for ? You should have gotten the AVR400 instead Just kidding, A power amp would be really nice, i can't wait to see you with some nice DM surrounds though.

A multi channel amp or two channel?

2 ch amp, I'd probably just trade in the x16 s and keep the center channel

I don't think your Integra would have a problem powering the center and surrounds. Why wouldn't you get the matching center?
