That's exactly what I'm thinking. The trilogy box will probably be $15 or under making the cost to upgrade here pretty affordable.

hopefully the trilogy collection is 3 separate disc. I hate 2 movies on 1 disc. I prefer each film to have there own disc

The boxset only has the double feature of 1 and 2 with 3 having its own disc, case, etc.:

(Taken on Mill Creek's site before it was removed).

Mill Creek updated their cover art for Gamera 3:

Looks like the cover from the German release. Also, on their site, they said the Blu-ray is region-free: http://www.millcreekent.com/gamera-r...s-blu-ray.html

Pre-orders are up

The Gamera Trilogy Blu-ray AM ~ $22.49 BB ~ $12.99

Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris Blu-ray AM ~ $14.99 BB ~ $8.99

Depending on what the prices end up being final for Amazon I may get the Trilogy and just sell off the first two just to get the slip box.

Thanks for the tip, bud!

I just bought the box for about $8.50 shipped, after a $5 BB/RZ certificate. It was actually cheaper for me to buy the box that way than the full price of just Iris.

Same. I held off watching the other 2, I'll wait until I got all 3 to watch in one shot.

Check your private message. Also, more news on Daimajin from Mill Creek's page:
Quote:
We have decided to postpone the Daimajin releases temporarily so we can give it some additional TLC - so expect to see in early 2012. Sorry for the delay, but just want to give the release the appropriate treatment it deserves!
Still good to know that they're still working on Daimajin.

Still too high considering MSRP for Gamera 3 is $9.98 and the boxset is $19.98. I have it preordered from Amazon, hopefully they will adjust the prices before release day or I'll end up canceling. I have alerted Amazon to both lower prices on Best Buy and the MSRP on Mill Creek's site.

Well, I guess its pretty "high" for Mill Creek's price point however they did say that they're including special features on Gamera 3, hence the higher MSRP. I still say 13 bucks and some cents is a steal for a new release.

Trilogy is now $15 on Amazon and looks pretty killer.
That's getting preordered even though I already have the 1st Disc. I'll just give it away.
Looks like a good amount of bonus features too.
