I'm pretty sure that Thor is goin to be a demo worthy disc as well considering that it has DTS HD 7.1

TrueHD tracks commonly have a dialnorm value applied which simply means TURN UP THE VOLUME compared to what you watch DTS-HD-MA tracks at. TrueHD and DTS-HD-MA are equal. If you are underwhelmed with a TrueHD track you either need to turn it up, OR it is just a weak mix and it would sound NO better in DTS-HD-MA once you volume matched with the TrueHD track. Also, make sure you dont have night mode or DRC turned on in your receiver or player for TrueHD tracks. There are tons of reference audio tracks that use both codecs as well as just straight PCM.

Tron Evoltion, I had to check to see that some one hadn't upgraded my system while I was sleeping, it was like the first time I had heard a lossless/compressed track.

I dont have DRC on. I watched Jumping The Broom earlier & it had a nice mix. Dialog was crisp & the music was loud & clear & I had the volume set where I usually have it.

Is it just me or does all LPCM tracks' sound more robust, dynamic & gives the LFE a boomin' work out, more so than D-THD & DTS-HD?

I also feel that PCM is more engulfing then Dolby TrueHD. DTS HD is pretty good to me as well. It just depends on the movie.

My current top 5 are (in no order):

Tron Legacy - DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 48/24
Transformers - Dolby TrueHD 5.1 48/24
Terminator: Salvation - DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 48/24
Baraka - DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 96/24
Hellboy 2 - DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 48/24

(wildcard being Tears of the Sun - LPCM 5.1 48/16).

To add to that, Rambo Extended Cut - DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 48/24 is a fine example.

How do you know that these movies have 24 bit soundtracks? On the back cover of Transformers it only says Dolby TrueHD 5.1.

Master and Commander is right up there with Tron: Legacy and is better than the rest of your list.

The technical lists on BD Stats are often times inaccurate.

I just watched 'Serenity'. That one has great surround usage, and tremendous LFE!
