I'm not cancelling my order, just because there's no extras. I want the film.

Seems weird to me. It sucks, completely, that there's no reported extras (thought to me that sounds off anyways) but did people buy this, just for the extras?

I bought the Swedish statue version too, so I hope that version has lots of extras.

No but I do like extras, I did like this film a lot though and I would have got it but the fact that there are other region B blu-rays out there that have extras on them just means that I'd be better off getting one of those .

EIV's website confirms 2:39:1 but the site also says the disc has special features

omg what an absolutely appalling film and reboot..this is on a par with the remake of Nightmare On Elm Street. Wes Craven should try his hand at embroidery or something, I have seen more scares and thrills in a Saturday Scooby Doo matinee.

DVDActive's review says it's 2:35:1. I've decided to keep my order, but if it's 1:85.1, my copy is being sold as soon as it arrives.

AvForums review mentions it's 2:35.1. I'll be waiting for a substantial price drop if there's no bonus features (I was particularly interested in the alternate opening and extended ending).

Seems that the disc is a vanilla release or so this review states, with the closet thing to a special feature being some forced trailers before the menu screen.

Defiantly gonna be leaving this one on the shelf, I wasn't a big fan of the film, it was a generic by the numbers remake with uninventive kills and a dull script. It was at least an hour too long with the middle hour being one of the most boring pieces of cinema I ever saw. Still for completest sake I was planning on picking this up when it dropped to the 5 or 6 euro price but if it really is sans extras then I'll never be picking it up.
