That's because they're all young sprogs that never experienced 'Star Wars' the first time around. He also played Julian (the bodyguard) in 'A Clockwork Orange' amongst many other roles that you may or may not know about.
Prowse' is 'VERY' proud of being 'The Green Cross Code Man' and so he should be given to the fact the he reduced road accidents involving children dramatically.

Here's a little more trivia for you. Did you know?.... That Pat Roach auditioned for the role of Vader? Lucas had remembered Prowse from 'A Clockwork Orange'.

Prowse was also Christopher Reeve's (uncredited) PT for 'Superman' and had 6 weeks to bulk him up for the part. Prowse also auditioned for the part himself, but that west country accent never helped.

Oh I could go on all day........................ LOL!

A quick question for those that have seen the packaging. What bbfc rating has Attack of the Clones recieved? Was curious to see if it'll be uncut in the U.K finally. Thanks

The packaging won't tell us much with regards to that type of stuff. The BBFC have yet to classify the films, the ratings aren't on their website yet.

No probs. It should be, the BBFC usually lets some things go after a few years, for a headbutt, it seems a bit ridiculous to me, anyway.

Just a ridiculous as all the fuss that's made over seconds of film time that makes absolutely no difference to the story at all.

It didn't help me, I stopped, looked and listened.... into a head-on collision. I totally destroyed the car I hit.... with my limp body.

I've got a photograph of myself and Prowse as The Green Cross Code Man, I haven't seen it years though.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by the extras on offer and the reports (it maybe me just reading between the lines though) of the picture quality of the original trilogy seem to be bracing people against the fact they may not look as good as the prequels.

Hopefully it's just me that's got the jitters.

True but it could be worse. It's just a minor irritation.

I get you. The only thing that bugs/baffles me with it is that pretty much the same headbutt was passed for 'The Fellowship of the Ring'. Still, it's completely irrelevant to the story and it ain't like there's major cuts been made.

I am wondering if Fox will do what it did with Conan the Barbarian. Seamless branch the film and have a play list that skips the headbutt scene for the UK but we will see. I do hope they release it uncut in the UK. I seen episode 2 on sky movies in the past and the version that was aired was uncut in the UK on sky movies with the headbutt intact so there is no point keeping it cut on the DVD.

Seeing as the Saga/ Episodes 1-3 are classified "12" I would've thought that the headbutt would be intact (unless some of the extras warrant a "12").

Well if you order online you will get it pretty much from everyone anyway. So it won't have any re sale value as such, as they will be pretty common.

The 12 certificate comes from ROTS. Hopefully as AOTC is in a boxset that's rated 12 anyway they will put it in uncut. I think there's a good chance with this being a new transfer, it seems more effort to cut it out again than just leave it in.

ASDA are doing it and I think HMV as well. If I get it, I'll be picking it up in-store day one.

I'll get the ASDA price this afternoon.
