One thing i notice is that it says LPCM Mono Audio. This film was actually mixed in Dolby Stereo, so they are not using the original audio. they are using the downmixed version which uses just 1 channel. The forthcoming BD from Synapse Films uses the Dolby Stereo audio track, so it already have one advantage over this edition.

Arrow's extras are always excellent and they go above and beyond to obtain new interviews and I love their packaging etc...Funhouse and Obsession were probably their best releases to date, Synapse's Blu authoring is always top notch and Arrow has had more than a few hiccup's in that department that was all I was suggesting. My US copy is in transit so I'm also hoping it's the better looking of the 2 releases

Hey all, this isn't in LPCM Mono, it comes up as DTS Mono on my amp (still comes out the front left and right speakers).
When I press Display on my Panasonic player, the signal type comes up as DTS Stereo Last edited by LordCrumb; 03-11-2012 at 07:41 AM. |
