My projector is mounted on the ceiling and my PS3 is located behind me from my viewing location. This doesn't form a problem, especially since the PS3 remote is bluetooth (almost spelled that blu-tooth) and not IR. I didn't want to bother with running cables all the way to the front of the room, so everything is set up behind my couch.
