Default ghost rider and spider-man releases

this is only a rumor but a couple of my friends that work for sony told me that there's a rumor that spiderman 1, spiderman 2, and ghost rider (which i know will be great in hd) are coming out at the same time for blu-ray around may (right around the time of S3). all i know is ghost rider looks like another huge movie from marvel and sony. i hope this rumor is true. if anyone else has heard this leave one

May is too soon for Ghost Rider. It's going to be released next week. July or August would be the fastest I think, if the movie works as it should.

Less than 24 hours till Ghost Rider....

Meanwhile we're sitting along side in a huge ship throwing these fools lifesavers that they refuse to take. And the quality of the audio in the warm and cosy grand ballroom is much better!

It won't be too soon as fast as that thing will be in out of the theaters. Brace yourselves.

If Ghost Rider bombs it will be out on BD/DVD in 90 days. Casino Royale will be out less than 120 days after it opened. Sony would be absolutely foolish to hold onto Spidey 1 & 2 until after the release of Spidey 3.

I suspect paidgeek knows the release date but is not allowed to say.

If it's not Thanksgiving-Christmas time or summer, 9/10 times the movies that come out in the theater are bombs.

The word coming out on Ghost Rider is universally wretched, with few exceptions. As if Wicker Man weren't bad enough, GR is being hailed in more than one circle as "Nic Cage's career killer."

A comic book movie coming out in February, instead of the hot seasons of the holidays or summer time? You do the math.

I fully expect it to bomb and make it out on BD sometime in May.

Well if it sucks that's not really good for BD other than "oh another title".
I never liked Nic Cage. He can't act and has no redeeming qualities.

I've liked Cage in the right roles...which have been few and far between.

It most certainly did and is an absolute "must buy" for me when it's released in June on BD.

One of my all time favorite movie quotes, "But how in the name of Zeus' butthole did you get out of your cell"?. LMAO.

i've been on the fence about nicholas cage for a while but after i saw world trade center, i think hes a good actor. when i 1st saw the preview for ghost rider i was like wow this doesnt look any good but then i got to thinking that this good be the next spider-man and i know this movie is going to look great in blu-ray. also for the people that said bad things about buying into HD DVD, you must be mistaken because HD DVD is better picture quality as of right now and it has most of the warner titles out now. i bought a blu-ray player after i bought my HD DVD player only because theyre much more titles out for br right now. anyways i hope the rumor that i posted is false cause i want spider-man NOW. i want that 2.1 on br

You could not be more wrong. As JTK said this is not June 06. Posts like this seriously damage your credibility.

never seen wickerman yet I have a dvd copy of it.

Lord of War was a really good movie. Kind of scary when you think about it.

I loved Natioal Treasure. Ive already seen the HD version on TV and im looking forward to the BD copy. go disney.

snake eyes was a good flick

8mm was really twisted.

Face off was fun when you want to turn your brain off and watch a violent film..

Gone in 60 seconds. Not bad .AJ is just hot.

Con Air. Im mixed abou this movie. Its so stupid sometimes..but entertaining at the same time.

Weatherman....boooooooooo. I was wishing for a tornado..or some catastrphic storm to make this go away.

No more posts like this when I'm in a quiet classroom... Had me LOLing, people looking at me like what's so funny.

But seriously, HD-DVD has better PQ? That's a new one. I think all the filtering that VC-1 may be doing is giving people the wrong idea. There is nothing wrong with grain! I'm pretty sure that it has been said by many that BD is offering a better representation of what the actual film/master looks like with out sacraficing fine detail. Show me an HD-DVD that has the facial detail that Tears/BHD/Crank has.

I have all those Cage movies except Weatherman and 8 mm. I want to be entertained. Acting is important but only to a certain degree, best actor in the world can't make a bad movie good. Anyways that said, most of his movies rock. Love his phrase (I can eat a peach for hours).
