Official Madden Blu-ray Online "Community" Thread - Blu-ray Forum

I would like to celebrate the release of Madden NFL 2012. Madden NFL has never been so big up until now. It will only continue to get bigger from here on out. This thread is strictly to meet up and play any random Madden games online vs. a forum member here. This will help keep the main Madden Leagues less congested so everything stays on topic. Thanks pillBOXhat for the great idea!

Any Online games outside of our current Madden Leagues. Please post here.

Crap. This is the new online feature right?

I won't be able to play till later tonight, if not tomorrow. So I have no clue what's new for Madden 12 until I have it in my hands.

I'm not too familiar with the Online Community feature, but if RL wants to step in. I can delete this thread so he can be OP for the new Community thread. I'll wait for him to log on this site and post.

sweet I like the idea of this thread. By the way Turner spanked me in an exhibition match 52-14, it was the first game I had played in Madden 12 and the Defense seemed to move extremely fast. I give Turner credit though ANdre Johnson did beat Darrelle Revis. ALso I joined the Community on Madden 12 already.

ALSO Blitzing seems so much more important in this years game because its much harder to throw the ball away! I predict a lot more sacks than in years past

I kind of like the gameplay. Not much of a change in the playbooks, but I think it's a "smoother" version of 2011.

The one thing that I grade in a video game is their Online playability. I'm strictly an online gamer. So far it looks promising with the new Community feature, but I hope the Franchise servers, and lobby servers hold up.

I was looking more through the community game mode and came across settings, I don't know if i'm the only one who is able to access this but if I am we should decide what the settings should be so that I can make the changes and people can start playing in the community

Looks like anyone can change the settings. I think maybe we should use the same settings from Madden 11? 8 min qtr, accelerated time etc.

This would be a good thing to figure out before we start playing in the actual leagues.

GG JC it was your first one so you'll do much better next time we play.

I Just lost top Madden-all-pro 38-35 on a last second field goal, epic and really fun game. I tried to kick a 56 yard field goal to go up by 10 and virtually seal the deal but i missed and he returned the kick all the way back for a touchdown.

Great, fun, competitive game

I haven't played an online game. How is it? Any lag, disconnections?

I take my online record by heart so I hate getting those DNF.

In Madden 11, I had only 1% DNF.

On another note, even though I lost to Turner, I did win the Two Online lobby games I played. I used the Panthers and they are awesome. Cam Newton can throw the deep ball like nobodys business, quarterback scrambling doesnt seem as effective as it did in the demo. Which is a good thing to me.

The first night Midnight release night i had alot of problems. Playing yesterday night no problems and very few hiccups or lagging. Still some slight lag here and there but nothing tremendous.

Seems their learning and actually have come out with a pretty good game to begin with.

Yeah played with the panthers too, really liked Dwill's speed. I just dont like thier corner play. Unfortunately.

I played someone last night with the raiders, ended up beating him cause he did the same thing over and over again and i had a fix for it everytime.

he played with Pryor and just ran around LOL, but the raiders were fast but stupid in the secondary i saw some diffrences. Usually raiders would be absolute.

Lost my first "Play Now" game last night to a Bengals player. Caught me off guard with acouple of deep bombs early in the game. Almost came back but threw an INT in the endzone.

I was using the saints though did decent I think. I see my secondary has some flaws i'll have to work out.

I agree, I like their offense but on Defensive side of the ball, they are just not very good. I think their highest rated DT is a 69???? The LBS are good but their secondary is very suspect. I love defense, so this team is just not for me. I did like them in 11 though.

At least if you don't join any League here. You still have an option to play in a non-committed Community with us Online right here in this thread.
