Default James Pond and the Deathly Shallows?

First new game in 18 years.

I'd love to see this released. Not as a mini though. Just a budget title, a few trophies maybe.

I fully expect this thread to quickly die.

Shawn

I have fond memories of James Pond on the Sega, but I doubt I will be playing this!

Because I'd like to see it released. With your attitude half the threads on this forum wouldn't exist!

Since it was critically acclaimed, scored high reviews (as did James Pond 3) and has endured on every major console since (it's currently on the PSN as a PlayStation Classic), I'd suggest that the majority disagree. You're entitled to your opinion, but this is an extreme statement that is no more than thread-crapping.

. Like what? All of the games in this forum are ps3/PSN related. This game is for Iphone,IPad.

This thread should be moved to the correct forum.

Jeez, I want to see it released on the PSN. What's everybody's damn problem?

Take a look at the classic arcade thread. 90% of the games mentioned are not available on the PSN, but you're not throwing a shit-fit about that.

Goes to that thread.....

EDIT: I think it would be best for me not to continue to argue.

You are probably right with that observation.

Never heard of this series though...looks interesting.

That's what the classic arcade thread is for, no? I don't want to backseat moderate, but this clearly belongs in Retro Gaming, not PS3 discussion, at least until/unless it gets a version announced for PS3/PSP/Vita.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

One of these threads is not like the others. Take a guess which one it is?

Since the company wants to revive the series with more mini-games, since this forum has many threads with retro games, AND the fact that I put a question mark in title to avoid confusion I figured that it would be okay to post a wishful thinking thread in the PS3 forum.

My thread has since been ruined by pedantry. Thanks.

This is not the first James Pond game released in 18 years. However, it is the first original James Pond title released in 18 years.

James Pond: Codename Robocod was released for the PS2, GBA and DS a few years ago. It was originally released on the PC in 1993.

Correct. And they weren't even the original either but a sort of re-build.

The PS1 classic version available on the PSN is HORRIBLE.

Original RoboCod is the best.

Don't sweat it, man...this type of thing happens all the time. I've posted in the correct areas asking for tech help, and all I got were people being a-holes and trying to pick apart every aspect of what I was asking, rather than simply answering the questions I had.

It comes with the territory of being online where people are anonymous. If it wasn't this, someone would find a reason to be upset with something you post.

Let the mods mod!

Never heard of HPN Associates. I'm not so confident this'll live up to the first few games.

(Amiga versions ftw! )
