Maybe it's because Criterion really didn't do anything with the release except put their "C" on the package.

Other than the blue case. Everything about that release is uniform with the rest of Criterion's releases. Including the disc art, menu design/layout, etc.

EDIT: Although now that I think about it. The release does contain lossy French and Spanish audio dubs. Which Criterion (thankfully) doesn't do on their releases.

I felt bad for *****ing, but Amazon refunded me the 6.50 they charged to ship If...., I only asked for the 2 extra dollars back they charged me since it's taking longer than standard shipping, when it was suppose to be expedited. They gave me an extra 4.50.

Thanks for all the insight folks. Looks like the single case is 8.90 shipped from Criterion so i might have to order a few movies to get over $50 for free shipping.

I'm expecting The Killing and Night of the Hunter in the mail today so my collection will be up to 19 titles. Now I just need to find the time to watch them all.

Re: the sale -
On one hand, I've been wanting to upgrade the cases to some of my older titles but didn't want to make a Criterion website order below $50; you also get points on the website that can be used for a giftcard, and really these sales and a few of the posters are the only time I'm going to buy from the website.

On the other hand, (most of) these titles can be picked up cheaper during the B&N sales...a few dollars mostly yes, but we just had one last month - there was one just now where I didn't pick up any Criterions (this is cheaper than that, btw) - and November's coming up. Then there's Amazon.

Well, I'll sit on my order and think it out...I have Bottle Rocket and The Complete Vigo set in my cart, along with the three replacement cases. Really, really wish this would apply to preorders; that would've been much more worthwhile.
