Sorry, not very technical minded. If I do this, will I have to change back the settings to watch other Blus.

You'll be waiting for the sales then. 30 pounds for a 9 disc blu-ray set - on release week??

Maybe spend £50 on shopping and get the set for £30, they have had offers like that before, I'm living in fantasyland I know but stranger things have happened. Look at Tesco's the other week with LotR!

No. They'll play just fine. Although i don't believe they'll show as 'DTS HD' on your amp. Just 'LPCM'. But they'll be playing those tracks perfectly. Just the player doing the decoding.

Just so people know, Tesco tomorrow are £60 (Credit to Kat5680 for finding this), ASDA are planning on £67, Sainsbury's might have it for £60 if their in store price matches the online one. Not sure on Morrison's yet though.

What about amazon trade in? I haven't tried it and I think it's just for games and it will take longer but other than that

Good point. I just checked and they would give me £15 for what I got. The HMV app is offering me £20 so I'll double check what they will actually offer me instore.

I was just reaing through the small print on my HMV re/play app and they actually have an offer on right now if you show them your replay app you get an extra £2 credit added on to the total of your trade in, and they will price match another trade in price and add an extra pound on top. I think the other store has to be within 1 mile though, which is fine because I have about 2 GAME and a gamestation store all within a 2 minute walk from HMV So I might do some serious tight ass scrounging when I get in to town all in all I could get an extra £4 credit ontop of everything else. So could save about £25 if I'm lucky

Amazon dispatched my copy on Saturday morning, so very little chance of it coming this morning. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

watched episode 1 yesterday.. have to say when the opening crawl came on and the music kicked in it sent a shiver down my back.. sounds great..

question about the transfer.. a few scenes where the camera pans right to left there seemed to be some smearing in the transfer.. im thinking one shot especially where Queen Amidalla is sitting with the council discussing the threat of an invasion.. anyone else notice this ?

i dont think its my tv.. panasonic 42vt30 plasma.. havent noticed this kind of smearing before on blu-rays ..

Cheers,
Mick

Just picked mine up for £60 from Sainsbury's.

The bloke said it was cheaper than online because no-one wanted to buy it cause it wasn't filmed in HD.

I couldn't be bothered to point out that people bought Blu-rays of stuff filmed in Black and White in the 50's.
