There IS some difference in packaging between US and Canadian versions. A lot of games in Canada have bilingual box art and/or manuals in both French and English. They also often have support for French language subtitles and/or dubs in-game, due to some stupid law passed in 2009 in Quebec which requires games released in Quebec province to have French dubs and/or subtitles if a localization in French is available.
Occasionally you'll see publishers shrug and just release a bilingual version for all of North America, but "usually" the US version is English-only. |
