There were also 15 hour long "clip shows" shown on TV in the US whenever the show returned from a hiatus. Some have exclusive interviews or narration from the actors. They won't appeal to everyone but the hardcore fans like myself. I have them as TV rips but would love them on BD.

Throw in more commentaries for episodes, documentaries, interviews and hopefully (if it happens) they release the UK set uncut (there were lots of cuts in our one). Maybe 10 year anniversary in 2014?
have you got any source for what was cut?
as far as im aware the UK set is identical apart from packaging. so that means the US set must be cut too.

Why would Disney decide to include the edited for Sky versions on the Bluray makes no sense to me at all when they already had the US versions they could have used.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

On the plus side at least we get better packaging than the US release, even though our premium release is missing a couple of the "toys" in the US box which i couldn't care less about.

If you want to see one of the most glaring cuts assuming you still have the US airings then go compare the Rose/Bernard scene in the season 5 finale "The Incident" on TV and then on Blu.

People on Lost forums knew about these cuts (since their just repackaged discs from the original season releases) but most still just bought the UK version because the US one isn't region free.

Was actually thinking of getting the UK version last year. But after much "research", I went for the US version instead. Now with all these cuts issues, I am glad I got the US one.

Yeah I got muliti-region but I was a bit inpatient so at the time I was getting the UK set for £104 but the US set would been £50 more and at that time I thought only differences was extra bits in box.
