You're full of it too. Boring as Hell??? Are you kidding me??? Seat-of-your-pants WWII aerial combat using state-of-the-art CG (finally) to represent actual WWII aircraft and not mocked up versions of P-40s for Bf-109s (*ahem* Memphis Belle *ahem*)

So what if it's Lucasfilm...what makes you think he's going to be directing or writing the thing? To me, all that says is the ILM is the main effects house.

The thing is if this film does well, it could spawn several new WWII films that use CG to show authenic WWII equipment. The thing about WWII films, including Private Ryan and Band of Brothers is that for those of us WWII history buffs recognize when the tanks and planes used aren't accurate and are just mock-ups made from old Soviet equipment. ex. Tiger tanks in Private Ryan were modified Russian T-34s. How to tell? Road wheel configuration. Small front wheel and large single wheels down the bottom....Tiger tanks had large wheels in front with overlapping wheels along the bottom.
