If not ... there is copy protection.

Typing as we speak on my new Dell XPS 1530, that I got this week, but without the Blu drive that I now want to put into it. I love this baby it's better than my home computer and that Dell is one bad MoFo!

Never have heard of a 420.....

I know the XPS models consit of M1330, M1530,M2010, but have never have heard of a 420...Hummm...

Pretty sure he is talking about a desktop while you are talking about Laptops.

Which are all XPS, btw I have a 1710 as well as a 1730, both of which are laptops, lol.

Can anyone relate their experiences using the Blu Ray burner on the Dell XPS 420?

- What authoring programs are included?
- Have you created discs with high def material?
- How was playback on the a player such as the PS3?
- What are the specs for the burner?
- etc
