Default HD DVD movies that need a Blu-ray release

Now that HD DVD is almost dead how long do you think it will take for the movies that are exclusive to HD DVD will be moved to Blu Ray? I really want to get the Bourne series and Batman begins and others. So what do the people here think?

We should probably start seeing some major transitions and studio movement occurring around March/April. I would say add another 6 months to that. It should definitely be in time for the holiday seasons.

First off, Welcome!

Hopefully we will see these movies before the end of the year the sooner Universal and Paramount switch the better. However, mgonzo2u is correct in that you should search the forums, but he could have been more tactful. I would encourage you to browse/search the forums as this is being discussed elsewhere.

Well by the end of the year for sure but if either Paramount or Universal go blu, then the other absolutely will too. Remember the rumor that Universal were waiting til Feb to make an announcement due to a contract. God hope its true!

Welcome!

Whatever you do, DONT use the search function. Threads like this make me happy because it shows me how many new people sign up each day.

But back to the question at hand. WB said they were prepping Matrix and Batman Begins, so I would be surprised if we dont see them by June. I think Batman theyll want in stores around time the sequel is ready to hit theaters. Matrix is a trilogy so I assume theyll take their time.
