Unfortunately, I think you're right. I don't pay sales tax on Amazon now, but I know Congress is trying to pass a law requiring all internet sites to collect it. In Illinois, however, the state sales tax (the amount Amazon would have to collect) is lower than the city/county/state tax for the luxury of living in Chicago, so Amazon would still be less expensive for me. Hopefully that time will never come, though.

We've waited this long for the movies, to be released in Blu-ray, so why wait another 5 days to get it in the mail? It's not going to be OOP, anytime soon, so what's the hurry? If he had a Reward Zone discount, he would have stated the fact, so apparently he didn't.

Most people buy more than one Blu-ray, when they order from Amazon anyway, including me.

One less customer, is not going to make, or break any local retailer! You'll be surprised how many Best Buy employees order from Amazon, and other onlines stores themselves.

The only states that are subjected to sales tax from Amazon are:

Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, and Washington.

Do you really think it's that simple. And it's not like he's paying much more than Amazon.

Why wait if you don't want to? Instant gratification is awesome.
And most people who shop Best Buy use reward zone. So your point doesn't stand.

Yeah, but that's due to having to be forced to do so... in order to not pay shipping.

It certainly would, if everyone started thinking that way. What a silly silly comment.
And I would be surprised, since you don't seem to be aware of a little thing called an "Employee Discount".

What's so difficult about saving money!

Maybe to you, but everybody is not impatient.

But you have to spend hundreds of dollars, before you get a Reward Zone discount, so you're still not saving nothing. The amount of money that you're required to spend, to be eligible for a Reward Zone discount, they should give it to you for free!

Amazon can't force anybody to do what they don't want to do! It's a personal choice.

Silly or not, it's a fact!

Employee Discount don't mean nothing, if they can get a better deal, and product somewhere else.

Indeed.. the best of all the sequels. After that the series went downhill.

Forgive me if this has been brought up before. I understand the UK gets a box of the whole series + a disc full of extras whereas the US gets single-disc releases (2 movies per disc). But what about the extra disc from the UK box? Is this material available in some other form in the US or does the US miss out on it?

That's obviously because you live in one the 90% of states where they don't charge tax

Well I'm inside best buy as I tyrode this. The reason best buy don't have it on the shelf at many locations is the box they came in says don't open until 10/4 the lady gave me a copy because I'm a employee she said. On top of that a few best buys don't even have it in store yet. The lady showed me the store planogram and its showing they will be putting it in the bluray on a budget section so it may b cheaper then 14.99 in a few days

Just went to Best Buy and they didn't have it out, either. Now I know why. I had the employee check in the back but she didn't deliver the goods for me - damn her. She said, "Well, we had boxes back there, but no Nightmare." Whatever. That really pisses me off that they do have it in the back. Why not open until 10/4? Is that a mistake or is Best Buy doing that purposely do you think? I'll order online then. Screw Best Buy.

I'm guessing that Best Buy is probably going to have a Halloween Display starting 10/4. Hence the date.

Went to my Best Buy and they had them in stock and on the shelf. So, needless to say, I got mine.

I'd wait to see if there is a price drop on 10/4 before you do anything just my opinion. I do know store level employees arent very informed when it comes to the movies it makes me mad as hell

Picked this up for $13 but now i dont know if i want to open it. It would be nice to get the U.K box set just to have them all and not worry about when they will be released because who knows when they will release 4/5 and 6/7 in the U.S......hmmmm what to do, what to do lol.

Thumbs down

I just went Best Buy. It was the only store that "had" 4 copies in the whole area, but it took at least 4 people and almost a whole hour not to find a single copy.
Now I'm back home and still have nothing except a half empty gas-tank...

having something shipped also supports the local economy.

ups/ usps and best buy are all national chains with local outlets/employees. it's not like best buy is some mom and pop store.
