I'm looking at it now. Accel Clock is on or off. The next setting is Play Clock Remaining. So if you choose 10 sec, if you get done with your play book, it runs down to 10 sec when you get out of the huddle, not enough time for any shifts or changing plays if needed. So that is why I said 20 sec.

When Accelerated Clock is On, the play clock will run down to the selected value.

Don't forget, we use the crappy franchise rosters.
They are never updated , so if Charles is there then you can use him

No free agents. This is a LEAGUE not a franchise.

In a perfect world I would run the league stat page off-site and we all manually insert stats.
That way we could use updated rosters playing unranked games.

Only thing is nobody wants to jot down stats

Last thing I wana do after a tough loss is stick around further and have to write down my dismall stats sinking into a deeper darker cloud of anger and frustration

And thats why we can't run the league like it should be ran.
It takes 3 minutes to jot down stats.

I was going to set up the league last night, but my internet went out in my area.
Eta to be fixe is BY Tuesday, but who knows.

The rosters are wack,. 6 LBs, or 4 CBs or 4 WRs on some teams which means injuries and probably fatigue too have to be off since there are no replacements for some formations unless you want WRs playing as DBs and vice versa, LBs at DE, CBs at LB, etc when the CPU starts doing subs for fatigue. That's not a league either, lol.

You want to do the league with the current rosters, that is EXACTLY what a community is and ranks people by win/loss and uses the newest rosters, all you have to do is make a schedule. or just post in here what week it is so everyone can go to the NFL schedule and see who they play.

OK. Everyone starts at 500 points. You get like 12 points for a win, and 12 or so taken off for a loss, can see the recent games, etc etc. What its like is a separate lobby for just your friends with a ranking system where you can see who is online and send a game invite and play with the new rosters and get ranked on a the community leader board. Even has a website for communities like it does for franchises.

Ok Parker.

I think we are going the community route for our league.
It meets our demands as we don't have trading, free agents etc PLUS we can always use updated rosters and play with injuries on.

My new modem arrives tomorrow so I will set up the community then.
We will follow the NFL schedule for 2011, unless you guys want to use a 2007, 2008 etc schedule.

I'll also post the weekly schedule on post 1 when the season starts.
Come tomorrow invites will be sent out, so if enough people join ASAP we can start the league Thursday and have a Tuesday deadline for week 1 and every week after that will be week 1 as-well.

That's what a community is, a lobby with all of us only in it who play be the agreed upon rules and with it set up like Don wants.

Anyway, Don, the only thing about communities is that if you are going to run it like a league, people have to use their assigned team since with this setup, just like in a lobby game, you can choose any team. Also, the depth chart each week accounts for injury. I just played the SNF game last night and Payton Manning was not the starter for the Colts, Collins was. It accounts for long term injury because Brackett was in the roster as starter at LB but was out for the game. If you want it real, you could say no roster changes pre-game.

Pasta Padre has roster details when they come out with all their ratings and occasional depth chart changes.

roster #2 changes with Manning being dropped to #3 QB.

Nah, No thanks. Still have to schedule games. No interest AT ALL. I just like to hop on and play and not have to worry about scheduling set times, especially with most of u being on the east coast.

Well, if you are in the other community, the Bluray one, check for people online. I am in that one and others. Not much action in them though, I think most people are so anti-lobby games and this concept is so new. I think if more people tried it and started playing these games they would have a lot of fun. Gives people a chance to play and be ranked against others they know and try out the latest line-ups on different teams. Which reminds me, I think I am checking out the Lions next community game.

You won't get "current rosters" until about week 7, after trade deadline. They still don't update franchise rosters weekly like they do with lobby/community rosters.
