I have no idea why they still have Ed Reed running back punts. He is soooo important to the defense, don't risk his talent returning a punt.

Woot Ravens 3-1!

Since 1998 the Ravens and Jets have played 7 times, Ravens 7-0.

Ravens will be a tough team to beat this year. I can see them going all the way to the Super Bowl.

Defense wins championships...And Baltimore's offense is ranked 11th, not too shabby...

Uhm Torrey Smith 3 TD's in the first quarter over 150 passing yards last week. Ravens defense 3 TD's this week.

Ray Rice is awesome, but he isn't the whole team anymore.

I consider myself a pessimist regarding the Cowboys for the first time since 2005, will take a lot for me to become a realist again. Count me among those that think Romo's days in Dallas should be numbered and Garrett should start reining him in a bit better as well.

Says the guy whose team is 0-4. Romo is to me now the ultimate proof that pretty stats don't matter if you can't close the deal, dude has horrible focus or fundamentals and I'm getting quite sick of it. Top 10 QB when he's on, bottom 5 QB when he slips. It's a roller coaster ride that makes me wish I wasn't so emotionally involved with the team every year and after today I will do my best to not care quite so much.

Now don't get grumpy with me. I feel your pain, brotha. This is the year I support the Lions. I was just saying not too long ago, it was Romo this and Romo that. Just saying.

and what did Torrey Smith do this week? 1 yard
vs. the Jets still but 1 yard? cmon

until they show consistency and balance on offense, they're not gonna reach the super bowl

Joe Flacco is really not that much better than Tony Romo, the difference with him is he has a nice running game and an outstanding defense to back him up, Romo has maybe one of those things.

They didn't need to throw at all seeing as they took the lead early with defensive TD's and never let it go. That's when you're supposed to run, run, run.

Joe Flacco is the better QB. Romo has had way more weapons to develop with (Witten, Austin, Bryant, Williams before this year). All Flacco had until last year was Derrick Mason and Todd Heap to dump it off to. He has consistently showed poise in the pocket and doesn't start throwing pick 6's repeatedly when they're down. I am in no way saying he is an ELITE QB, but he is better than Romo. Romo, on the other hand CONSISTENTLY chokes away victories with his inability to handle a "lead". I can't say pressure because he was up 24 points and still choked it away. Whereas Flacco has taken his team to the playoffs every year since being drafted and even has a positive playoff win percentage having never played a home playoff game.

Flacco did what last year in the play-offs against the Steelers? Today's loss wasn't completely on Romo, I'd give a fair amount of the blame to Jason Garrett as well for continuing to call so many passes up by 24 points, dude needs to learn to game manage, even with a gun slinger at QB.

So he lost in the second round against PITTSBURGH (a.k.a. AFC champions) IN PITTSBURGH? I seem to recall ROMO getting whalloped when he made it to the playoffs against Minnesota. The point is Flacco makes it there consistently by not throwing away victories.

I'm on the Romo short leash train also, I said before the season this would be the last chance I'm giving him and I think I was right after this month. Dude is 31 years old, I'd say there's almost no chance he's suddenly going to become a lot less careless with the ball. Wondering when it will be time to make McGee the starter, perhaps gluing Romo's butt to the bench for awhile will inspire him to pull his head out of his nether regions.

Also worth mentioning that Flaccos other 2 playoff losses were also both on the road against the eventual AFC champs. His 4 wins are all on the road. He has yet to play at home in the playoffs. I think that changes this year.

Flacco will improve as the season goes on. This is his first year with an actual deep threat in Lee Evans and Torrey Smith. As the season goes on, Flacco will get better chemistry with those guys along with Boldin and his 2nd year TEs. So he had a bad game against Revis and the Jets. I can't say I'm surprised. I wouldn't put all the blame on Flacco though. Collinsworth kept mentioning how they were still throwing the ball when they should just run and play good defense. He was right. If Flacco doesn't throw that pick six and fumble that ball, the Jets would have only 7 points(on a kick return). The Jets couldn't get anything done against the Ravens defense. The only team that has done much against them was the Titans a week after an emotional demolishing of the Steelers. The scary thing is that the Ravens secondary isn't at full strength with first round pick Jimmy Smith out along with Chris Carr and Domonique Foxworth. Foxworth is gone for the season, but to be honest, he was one of our worst corners. He was not recovered from knee surgery and was getting beat by faster guys on a consistent basis.

He has had a neck issue for a few years now. It still bothers him, but he continues to play through it. He has said he is more cautious of how he hits people and stuff like that. I was really surprised he was returning punts and attempted to block at least 1 punt against the Jets.

Levi,

Don't lecture me about the Colts being a terrible team this year. I said this before, without Manning the Colts offense chokes nonstop, defense on the other hand is much better (The fight they put up against the steelers last week). Cowboys on the other hand just plain suck. They have the weapons (fast QB, fast defense, offense etc....) there is just no magic in that bunch whatsoever.

And don't go after Flacco,

He is more consistent than Romo times 20 literally.

Oh oh, Romo gives Jerry the cold shoulder. That whole team is one big soap opera.
[Show spoiler] Plus this never gets old.
