8GB Walkman to PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

I can not figure out how to transfer my MP3's from my Walkman to the PS3, but I can transfer from my PS3 to the Walkman. (downloading from Rhapsody)

The Playstation reads that there is an artist, it just wont read that there are songs.

Also is there a date when the Dual Shock Controller will be avaliable in the US.

If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated.

does the triangle button do anything to help?

Yup normally if you press the triangle button on a folder or file it gives you more options to do more things.

I have the same issue with my 4GB. I sync'd it on th ecomputer with Media Player 11, but the PS3 doesn't find the MP3s in their folders. I haven't figured it out yet. No big deal to me, since I was buying the walkman regardless if it worked with the PS3.

Could be a DRM thing with the Walkman. Just offload the content to a flashdrive and plug that into the PS3.

Sony actually allows the walkman to be open, in theory. The videos can be transferred with no problem. I am wondering if it is just the file layout, like trying to find the MP3s on my USB drive. The PS3 won't find them unless the folders are named correctly.
